Originally thought to be Morris’ final design, Compton is now recognised to be the work of John Henry Dearle. It was first produced in 1896 for Compton Hall and is full of history and charm.
Still a classic all these years later, the William Morris Compton Velvet Sienna curtains from our collaboration with the V&A, is a stunning combination of flowers and leaves in a beautifully rich colour scheme. With hues of reds, yellows and greens on a strikingly dark background, the autumnal palette is a truly eye-catching conversational piece.
